Minat Siswa Terhadap Olahraga Sepakbola di SMP Negeri 26 Kerinci

This study was motivated by the assumption that students at SMP Negeri 26 Kerinci, Kerinci Regency, have relatively low interest in soccer. The purpose of this research was to determine the level of students’ interest in soccer at SMP Negeri 26 Kerinci. This research employed a descriptive method. The population consisted of all female students at SMP Negeri 26 Kerinci in the 2015/2016 academic year, totaling 177 students. The sample was selected using a stratified purposive random sampling technique, resulting in 36 respondents. The research instrument used was a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Data were analyzed using frequency distribution formulas presented in percentage form. The results of the analysis indicate that students’ interest in soccer at SMP Negeri 26 Kerinci, Kerinci Regency, is classified as “Good.”
