Penerapan Pembelajaran Multisensorik untuk Melatih Stimulus Awal Baca Tulis Anak

Early childhood is a critical phase in child development, particularly in language aspects, including reading and writing. However, many young children face difficulties in mastering these skills. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the multisensory method in enhancing the reading and writing abilities of early childhood in Korong Koto Panjang, Nagari III Koto Aur Malintang Selatan. The multisensory method involves the use of visual, auditory, and tactile senses to maximize children's understanding and memory. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with direct observation and interviews with the owner of the BIMBA RBU learning center. The results indicate that the multisensory method is effective in increasing children's learning interest, activeness, and comprehension in reading and writing. Although challenges such as boredom and difficulty in concentration exist, this method provides long-term positive impacts on children's literacy development. In conclusion, the multisensory method is an innovative solution that can be applied to support early childhood reading and writing learning.
